Ric was a very social gentleman and went to join the social angels on April 23, 2024 at the age of 74.
Ric will be lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate, Lorraine "Lori" Gretsinger. He will be dearly missed by his sister Jill Gretsinger-Anderson, niece Jennifer Barren and fiancé Dan, nephew Jason Barren and wife Mandy and their son Jack as well as many dear cousins, friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by his mom Marion Gretsinger, his dad Alfred Gretsinger, and brother-in-law Mark Anderson.
Ric’s passion was always helping others through his wonderful volunteer work with the Fonthill Lions Club, Fonthill Farmers Market, Royal Canadian Legion Talbot Trail Branch 613 Fonthill, and St. James and St. Brendan Anglican Church, Port Colborne Food with Friends take-out hot meals program for people in need.

In accordance with Ric's wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements have been entrusted to Pleasantview Funeral Home, Thorold (647-699-7858).
