With all of Niagara Parks’ attractions, heritage sites and restaurants now open for the season, there is something for everyone to enjoy this weekend, from the springtime floral displays to Niagara Parks’ iconic nature-based attractions.

The Hydrangea Display at Niagara Parks Floral Showhouse

Starting May 4, experience the breathtaking and colourful blooms of the Hydrangea Display. Filled with vibrant colours and gorgeous springtime blooms, the Hydrangea Display offers an opportunity to reconnect with nature’s most beautiful creations. Treat your senses with a stroll through this beloved show and explore the traditional colours of blues, mauves, pink and white blooms!

Admission to this spectacular show is $8 per adult and $5 per child. Children two and under are free. Admission is also included in Niagara Parks’ season passes and bundled attraction packages. The Floral Showhouse is open daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Transport to a whimsical haven at the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory

Enjoy a magical experience with a visit to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory. Located on the scenic Niagara Parkway, the conservatory features over 2,000 vibrantly coloured butterflies amidst the backdrop of a tropical garden oasis. Take a stroll through winding pathways surrounded with lush greenery and the peaceful sounds of trickling waterfalls inside one of the largest glass-enclosed butterfly conservatories in North America.

Stop and smell the flowers at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens

After visiting the Butterfly Conservatory, explore the 99 acres of manicured gardens and nature spaces at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens to catch some of the first glimpses of springtime blooms. The Botanical Gardens are free to the public and open daily from 6 a.m. until midnight.

*Construction is currently underway at the front parking lot for the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory and Botanical Gardens from April 22 – May 17. Guests are advised to use the overflow parking lot behind the Butterfly Conservatory during construction (entrance off the Niagara Parkway north of the main entrance).

New features now open at Niagara Parks Power Station + Tunnel

Niagara Parks has introduced updates to both the daytime and nighttime experiences at the Niagara Parks Power Station + Tunnel! Now included with admission, the all-new bilingual audio tour will transport guests to a time where hydroelectric innovation was at its peak. At night, guests will now have the chance to experience the Tunnel after dark, leading to a never-before-seen perspective of the illuminated Falls from the observation platform at the edge of the Niagara River!
