Wayne Luckock of Niagara Falls has $126,727.80 to put toward his dreams after winning a Lotto Max second prize in the March 12, 2021 draw.
Wayne says he is a frequent lottery player. He saw a Lotto Max advertisement while at the store, so he decided to purchase a ticket. "Best choice I ever made," he said.
Wayne, a retiree, said he was in disbelief when he discovered his big win. "I used the Ticket Checker and thought, what is that? when I saw a big number flash on the screen!"
Wayne says he called his wife to tell her about his big win right away. "I told her it's a lot of money! It feels great. There were tears of joy!"
"This win couldn't have come at a better time," he concluded.
Lotto Max players in Ontario have won over $6 billion since 2009, including 84 jackpot wins and 625 MaxMillions prizes, right across the province. Lotto Max is $5 per play and draws take place on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Thorold Stone Road in Niagara Falls.
