The Thorold Community Activities Group (TCAG) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Dan Pelletier Community Leadership Fund, a new initiative celebrating the enduring legacy of former Executive Director Dan Pelletier, and his unwavering dedication to fostering community leadership.
The announcement was made at TCAG’s year-end celebration this past Wednesday at Club Belvedere, marking an exciting milestone for the organization and the Thorold community. The fund, which has already reached over 50% of its $10,000 seed goal, is a testament to Dan’s vision and support for leadership development.
The Dan Pelletier Community Leadership Fund will provide critical support for leadership-focused programs and initiatives at the TCAG and in Thorold, including:
• The Leaders-in-Training program for youth,
• Leadership development opportunities for volunteers and staff, and
• Broader leadership initiatives within the Thorold community.
“This fund honours Dan’s incredible contributions to the TCAG and his passion for empowering individuals, and especially young people, to lead and serve their community,” said Megan Gilchrist, TCAG Executive Director. “With this initiative, we aim to build on Dan’s legacy and continue shaping the next generation of leaders in Thorold.”
