This week we would like to feature Itsy Bitsy!

Itsy Bitsy is a 15-week-old beautiful baby girl! She’s loving, gentle, fearless and funny! She loves to run and binky and will thump her feet in disdain if she’s confined to her pen for more than a few hours! She’s an energetic little kid and needs to stretch her legs and play for four or more hours every day. She loves people and adores being pet. She’s also friendly towards cats and small dogs and is accustomed to the sounds of a busy household.

Itsy has a mild head tilt caused by damage to her neck from a parasitic infection (two cuterebra were burrowed deep in her neck muscles). This sweet baby received intensive care in a foster home for the last 4 weeks and she’s really stunned us with her recovery. Although the head tilt will likely be permanent, it doesn't slow her down at all. She’s done her medications and bunny vet, Dr. Davis, says she’s ready to find her forever home!

Itsy will be spayed when she’s 6 months old but she’s ready to go home to a loving family now.

She’s an excellent candidate to bond to a nervous or shy neutered boy bunny. Or she can go home solo to a loving family that can provide her with lots (and lots!) of attention.

Itsy will be medium sized (around 4 pounds) when she’s all grown up so will need an extra-large dog exercise pen as her home-base until she’s completed litter box training and has learned the house rules.

Baby bunnies are just as much work as puppies (minus the need for walks and training classes). They need to be litter trained and taught which things are chew toys and which things aren’t (ex. baseboards, carpet, couch, etc). Babies have a lot of energy and need lots of entertainment and attention. They typically settle down around a year of age or so. If you’re ready for the responsibility and hilarity of a baby bunny then apply to adopt below!! If a baby bunny sounds like a bit too much work then consider adopting a chill adult bunny who’s already grown out of the crazy-baby-bunny stage.

Adoption fee is $40 and includes spay, rhdv vaccination and vet exam.
