The Fonthill Lions Club is bringing back their highly successful Bunny Draw for Easter. However, this year there are two giant bunnies up for grabs. There will be two draws, each for one 3-foot milk chocolate Easter bunny.

The chocolate bunnies are custom-made by Nigh’s Sweet Shop in Stevensville.

Tickets are one for $5, three for $10, ten for $20, seventy-five for $50 or one hundred tickets for $100. Last year the Lions’ Bunny Draw was highly successful at raising money for local community service.

“We were so grateful for the amount of support the community provided for this fundraiser,” said Steve Pellerin, President of the Fonthill Lions. “We were pleasantly surprised how many people bought larger ticket packages, some because they really wanted to win a 3-foot bunny for their children, grandchildren or spouse, but others mainly to support the Lions.”

Tickets can be purchased at www.fonthilllions.ca or by calling 289-684-1240. Draw will be on Sunday April 10 at 1pm and delivered to the winner just in time to make someone very happy for Easter on April 17.

Pleasantview Funeral Home is again a proud supporter of the Fonthill Lions Bunny Draw. Hopefully the giant bunny raffle will be equally as successful in 2022, especially since families and friends can get together for Easter and perhaps “break a bunny” for Easter.
