Archie - a happy Chow mix with the zoomies (8 months old)
Archie is an absolute bundle of joy. He is young and full of energy. He constantly gets the zoomies and will run around the yard for hours. Still being a pup there are many things his new owners will need to work on. He has no leash manners and will jump up on you or grab the leash. He has a very high prey drive so he must not be taken off the leash unless in a securely fenced-in area. He is very food motivated and willing to please. With some professional training to help him with manners and to get a better understanding of obedience commands, he should grow into a great dog. Archie absolutely loves toys, and is great at playing fetch! He is a sweet boy who loves everyone he meets.
Archie's perfect home has a fully fenced yard. No small children as he has no manners and could accidentally hurt them. No small animals or cats as he has a very high prey drive, and lastly active owners who have the time to work on training so that he can learn what is expected of him. This sweet boy is going to make a wonderful addition to an active home!!
Twinkle Toes - a gentle sweetheart (Domestic Short Hair, 7yrs)
Twinkle Toes is hands down one of our cutest residents here at the LCHS. Just look at those extra toes! Twinkle Toes is nervous around new environments and people. She was surrendered from her previous home as the other cats stressed her out and out of stress she urinated and defeated out of her litter box. Here at the shelter where she is separated from other cats we have not seen her do this. Once she becomes familiar with you Twinkle Toes is a huge sweet heart, she has the potential to be an amazing family member if introduced into the right environment, (with no other animals). Twinkle Toes ideal home is calm and quiet with no other animals, and adopters who are willing to give her time to come out of her shell and let her adorable personality shine through!
Twinkle toes will have a dental waiver for her teeth.
