The Goodman School of Business is inviting the community to attend its inaugural State of the School event Wednesday, June 2 from 5 to 6 p.m.

The online event will feature Goodman Dean Andrew Gaudes in conversation with Mishka Balsom, CEO of the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) and a member of Goodman’s advisory council, as they reflect on the past year, look at how the School responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and how it’s positioning itself for the future.

“This has been the most extraordinary year in our generation,” Gaudes says. “This event will be an opportunity to connect with our community and alumni and share how we’ve navigated it and what the path forward looks like.”

Earlier this year, Goodman received the Business School Impact System label for its extensive contribution to local economy. The external review found that Goodman’s activities contributed to Niagara an economic impact totalling $380 million annually through direct, indirect and induced contributions.

To receive a link to the free community event, register online. Attendees will also be able to submit questions for Gaudes through that form.
