Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The City of Thorold has decided to launch its very own monthly e-newsletter called ‘City Hall News.’

The initiative is spearheaded by the city’s new community relations specialist Megan McRae.

“We will be highlighting current news, City Council highlights and community events,” said McRae, in a press statement. “There are so many great initiatives happening in our Thorold community. We’re excited to tell these stories by providing this information directly to people’s inboxes.”

McRae recently started working at City Hall to try and improve the communication between the city and its residents. The virtual newsletter is another step towards this goal.

“As we continue to grow, so does our need to connect with our community,” said the city’s Chief Administrative Officer Manoj Dilwaria, in a press statement. “This newsletter is the next step in strengthening our relationships with our residents, business owners and community partners.”

‘City Hall News’ will be distributed on the last Thursday of every month. The first edition of the e-newsletter will release on Thursday, July 28, 2022. To sign up, click here.
