COVID-19: 3 new cases, 10 recoveries in Niagara today

Death toll has remained stable all week – 48 percent of Niagara residents are now fully vaccinated

NRPH reports 3 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 recoveries on Wednesday. The number of known active cases in Niagara has now dropped to 71, with only a single case found in Thorold.

The death toll remained unchanged on Wednesday, at 415.

No new outbreaks were reported.

Niagara Health said they are caring for 4 individuals, one of them in the ICU.

As of Wednesday, 48 percent of Niagara residents have received a full series of the vaccine.

67.6 percent of residents have received one dose.

Ontario reported 153 cases and 7 deaths on Wednesday.
