COVID-19: Cases dropping in Niagara, but outbreaks are up (NUMBERS CORRECTED)

NRPH reported 92 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday and one new death.

 

 

There are now 1,530 active cases in Niagara and 399 deaths.

While cases are going down, outbreaks are still sitting at a higher level than previous weeks. Six new outbreaks were reported yesterday, one on Thursday. 

There was no information about exact locations, however, the list of healthcare outbreaks remained unchanged, with two outbreaks active currently. 

The number of patients with COVID-19 at Niagara Health increased on Thursday, with 61 admitted.
