Under cloudy skies that offered the occasional, but vibrant, ray of sunshine, Thorold veterans, military families, and locals gathered for a spaced-out Remembrance Day ceremony in Memorial Park.
Thorold's 17th Legion head Eric Cuthbert delivered remarks, as did Thorold mayor Terry Ugulini who expressed his gratitude to past and present service members.
"I am honored to be here with all of you to remember the men and women who selflessly gave their lives to uphold the values and freedoms we are fortunate to enjoy here in Canada," he said during his speech.
