Free holiday skating at the Frank Doherty Arena

The City of Thorold is hosting free public skates over the holiday season

Looking for family activities to keep the little ones busy during the holidays?

The City of Thorold is putting on five free public skates at the Frank Doherty Arena between Christmas and New Year’s. 

Free popcorn and hot chocolate will be on offer, while residents can skate to their heart’s content. 

The five free public skates are happening on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, December 27

 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Thursday, December 28

 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Friday, December 29

 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Saturday, December 30

 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, December 31

 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
