As of this week, people who visit Thorold can take a memento of the city back home with them.

Thorold souvenirs are here.

On display at the Thorold Museum and Lock 7 Tourist Information Centre, the souvenirs will be on sale at select shops downtown, where travel counsellor Natasha Kuehnen and her Information Centre colleagues will direct visitors to buy them.

Beaded keychains that say “City of Thorold” and greeting cards that showcase famed Thorold sites are now available at Chapel Street Designs, located at 46B Front Street South. The keychains cost $5 and the cards, $2.50.

Teddy bears and other stuffed animals that bear the words “Thorold, Canada” embroidered on their bellies can be purchased for $19.98 at A Yellow Flower Basket, 50 Front Street North.

Copies of History Made in Niagara, a collection of local historical accounts written and published post-humously by the late Brock University professor and Thorold resident Alun Hughes, are also on sale at the Information Centre for $35.
