Giant Tiger clothing recalled by Health Canada

Consumers urged to stop wearing affected clothing and return to store for refund because it 'may contain' mold

Certain brands of Giant Tiger clothing are being recalled due to the possible presence of mold, Health Canada says.

Giant Tiger brands sleepwear (monkey bars, Bella & Birdie, Mountain Ridge, Survival Gear), Men’s Sherpa Robes, Pajar Ski Pants and Men’s Ski Pants are affected.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled sleepwear, robes and ski pants and return them to Giant Tiger for a refund.

Health Canada said the products "may contain" mold.

As of Dec. 21, 2022, the company had received no reports of incidents and no reports of injury in Canada in relation to the products, Health Canada stated in a news release.
