Weather advisory issued for:

  • Niagara Falls - Welland - Southern Niagara Region
  • St. Catharines - Grimsby - Northern Niagara Region

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

What:
Snow, at times heavy, with accumulations of 10 to 15 cm. The heaviest snowfall is expected to be near Lake Ontario.

When:
Continuing through tonight, and possibly into Monday morning.

Additional information:
An area of snow which may fall heavily at times will continue to impact the area through tonight. The snow is expected to taper to flurries and move out of the area later tonight or Monday morning.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
