NIAGARA FALLS – This holiday season, plan a visit to Niagara Parks to experience nature-based attractions, locally sourced dining, fireworks shows and the Winter Festival of Lights as Niagara Falls is transformed into a winter wonderland.
Holiday Hours of Operation
All Niagara Parks’ year-round attractions will be open throughout the holidays for guests planning a winter getaway or staycation. Bundle up and explore the eight-kilometre wonderland as you celebrate the magic of the season with the Winter Festival of Lights. With millions of twinkling lights and photo ops at every turn, this year’s display promises to capture the hearts of families, friends and visitors alike. There will also be nightly fireworks displays beginning on Friday, Dec. 27 through to the end of the Winter Festival of Lights on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025. All fireworks displays are subject to weather conditions. For the full fireworks schedule, visit niagaraparks.com/fireworks.
Christmas Day
While attractions and WEGO bus services will be closed, Niagara Parks will have select services and amenities open for guests visiting Niagara Parks on Christmas Day. Table Rock Centre will remain open to the public with extended hours on Christmas Day, including access to the public washrooms. Table Rock Shop and the Table Rock Market on the main floor will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Queen Victoria Place Gift Shop and its public washrooms, as well as the Casino Shop and Welcome Centre will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will also be public washrooms open in Queen Victoria Park next to the event field and at Grand View Marketplace. Niagara Parks’ Falls Parking Lot will be open on Christmas Day from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the Queen Victoria Place Lot will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Falls Incline Railway will operate on modified hours, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. to connect guests from the Fallsview area to Niagara Parks. New Year’s Eve
All operations will run as usual on New Year’s Eve, including all parking lots, WEGO Bus services and year-round attractions. The year will end with a bang as a spectacular fireworks display lights up the night sky, with shows starting at 8 p.m. and midnight.
