Metrolinx is expanding GO Train-service to Niagara by adding one rush-hour trip both ways between Toronto and Niagara, starting next week.

The service increase comes as the operator anticipates more commuters hitting the tracks as fall approaches.

According to the official schedule, the train will be leaving Niagara Falls at 6:39 a.m, arriving in Toronto at 9 a.m, with a return trip from Union Station scheduled for 5:17 p.m, arriving in Niagara Falls at 7:38 p.m.

For those returning to colleges and universities, new and improved bus service will help ease the transition back to school, including a new extension to Brock University.

The bus trip will include stops in Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Beamsville, and St. Catharines.
