Are you one of those people who can name a tune in three, two, or even one note?

Port Robinson Proud has an event for you.

Featuring music and music trivia questions ranging from the 1950s to today’s tunes, PRP and Club C Event Centre are co-hosting the Music Trivia Night, assisted by Shawn McCart of Name This Tune.

“It’s not a fundraiser; it’s just a fun event," Nancy Waters, Port Robinson Proud co-founder, told the Thorold News.

"We thought it would be a good way to showcase the renovations that have been done at the club and a good way to include Port Robinson residents.”

Waters, who’s also assistant manager of business operations at Club C Event Centre, explained that “The club has not changed names; it is still Club Castropignano Niagara, but it was re-branded earlier this year as ‘Club C Event Centre’ for marketing purposes. It helps to denote that the club, while still a very fabulous and elegant banquet centre for weddings, is also a perfect venue for corporate events, parties, proms, meetings and business conferences. We have the ability to offer this venue for lots of different purposes beyond just weddings.”

Located at 1311 Egerter Road, on the west side of Port Robinson, Club C Event Centre is a not-for-profit organization that is directed by an executive board of volunteers and trustees.

Name This Tune will run from 6 to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19.

A cash bar will be available; participants must be of legal age.

Admission costs $10 per person or $80 for a table of eight, and includes pizza and snacks.
