One of Niagara’s biggest tourism magnets are opening back up to the public today, as both Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara announced their doors are open, starting today.
The both casinos have been closed for over 1,5 years due to the pandemic, and said it will begin with 50 percent capacity, with new safety protocols implemented around machines, such as barriers. Visitors will also be required to wear a mask.
The reopening comes as welcome news to over 1,000 casino employees, who have been preparing for the reopening in the past week. In total, the both casinos employed over 4,000 people prior to the pandemic.
