As part of its ongoing commitment to inclusivity and transparency, Niagara Parks will host a virtual Public Information Centre on its Multi-Year Accessibility Plan on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 6 p.m.

This online session will provide an overview of the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, highlighting Niagara Parks' recent and planned initiatives to enhance accessibility. Attendees will have the opportunity to share input and participate in discussions on Niagara Parks' accessibility strategy and future planning. This feedback will be instrumental in guiding Niagara Parks as it continues to develop a public accessibility plan that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities.

Recent initiatives as part of Niagara Parks' ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility include the installation of new accessibility signage with QR codes for additional information at Queen Victoria Place Restaurant, the construction of a universal washroom at the Table Rock Bistro + Wine Bar, and the addition of accessible parking spaces at key locations, including the Botanical Gardens Main Lot and the employee parking area behind the Floral Showhouse. For more information about accessibility at Niagara Parks, please visit niagaraparks.com/accessibility.
