Several residents reported heavy police activity in Thorold South last night.
Police told ThoroldToday.ca that they were looking for a wanted male in the area of Cowan Drive and Allanburg Road around midnight on Tuesday.
The male was able to flee on foot, despite being tracked with police dogs.
It was not immediately clear what the man was wanted for.
