The Town of Pelham is saddened by the news of the passing of crossing guard and retired volunteer firefighter, Henry Wutzke.

Wutzke was a dedicated employee of the Town of Pelham and had been serving as a crossing guard since 2019. Mr. Wutzke was also a volunteer firefighter with  Pelham Fire Station #2 in Fenwick from 1994 until his retirement in 2021. His service as a firefighter in Pelham was recognized in February of 2015, when he was awarded the Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal. His commitment to the community will be greatly missed.

Please keep Wutzke's family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.

The Town of Pelham will fly the flags at half-mast at municipal buildings in recognition and honour of Wutzke and his service to the Pelham community.
