Prince of Wales flags fly on Front Street

Prestigious symbols of Thorold's heritage preservation efforts now hang on Front Street

Winning the prestigious Prince of Wales Heritage Award was a momentous occasion for Thorold.

A plaque has been erected at the Lock 7 Tourism office and Museum, and now colourful purple and gold flags billow above Front Street to further celebrate the achievement.

These symbols are markers of long and meticulous efforts to preserve important homes, buildings and artifacts that define the history of Thorold.
