Felt unusually toasty today?
According to Environment Canada records, it was because a record-setting heat wave swept the region on Monday, measuring a scorching 20 degrees in St Catharines.
A temperature that high has not been noted on this day since March 22, 1990, when a high of 15 degrees was measured.
Two years prior, Niagara residents were bundled up as a -10 chill hit the region, on this day in 1988.
An official announcement from Environment Canada has not been noted yet.
Tomorrow promises a high of 16 degrees in St Catharines.
