Dean Serravalle has struck again.

The proud Thorold native and prolific novelist will sign first edition copies of his latest offering, Where I Fall, Where She Rises, on Saturday, June 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Coles book store in the Pen Centre.

Published by Inanna Press-Toronto, and launched officially in Toronto on June 13, his newest novel  is already receiving excellent reviews.

Serravalle is the author of Reliving Charley (Oberon Press), which tells the tale of “someone who made a choice to live his life in reverse—from old age to youth, retaining the knowledge he attained.”

He has twice been nominated for the prestigious Journey Prize of Canada and The National Magazine Award, and more than 30 of his short stories have been published across the globe.

“I used to cover the Raptors,” the former journalist/sports writer previously told Thorold News, “but my first love is fiction.”

The father of four children, Serravalle is an English Literature teacher at St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School, who also teaches poetry and songwriting at Niagara College, and freelances as a copywriter for his brother’s realty business.
