With less than a month left until Christmas, Thorold is putting on its best holiday suit as downtown has been decorated with a festive look.
Last week a 27.5 ft tall Christmas tree was raised outside The Post Office, and the town Santa Parade and Special Events committee released its plans for a light festival earlier this month, which, short of the promised decorations at the Beaverdams Park gates could be seen shining a light in the dense November darkness.
