Jason Galasso of Thorold can “find his possible” after winning a Lotto 6/49 second prize worth $73,147.50 in the Sept. 27, 2023 Lotto 6/49 draw.
Jason, who works in retail management, says he has been playing the lottery for 30 years and this is his first major win.
"My wife is the first person I told about my win. She told me she didn't believe me because I’m always joking around," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. "I checked my ticket on the OLG app and was in disbelief. I told myself I needed to sleep on it. I just couldn't believe it."
The 52-year-old father of one plans to put his win toward investments and retirement.
"This feels fantastic. I'm living the dream!" Jason smiled.
