The Ministry of Transportation will close the Thorold Tunnel nightly from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. from February 19, 2020 until February 21, 2020 (Wednesday to Friday) to facilitate the installation of temporary steel decking in the North tube.
"Please follow the detour signs, should it be required", the City of Thorold writes in a press release.
The closure comes just weeks after another round of construction work saw the tunnel close nightly.
