Niagara Regional Police are trying to crack the identity of a driver after dashcam footage captured a car speeding through a stop sign, leading to an 11-year-old boy being thrown off his bike.
The incident occurred on June 11 at 2:11 p.m, at Confederation Avenue and Richmond St in Thorold.
Video shows how the vehicle passes through the stop sign, just as the young cyclist was about to cross the road as the car came speeding from the side, leaving the boy flying off his bike.
Video of the incident was posted to NRPS social media channels on Friday.
Police said anyone with information should contact them or Crime Stoppers.
