Pierre, a 60-year-old father and grandfather, says this is his first major win.
"I play the lottery here and there," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. "I checked the ticket on the OLG app a couple days after the draw and I froze when I saw Big Winner come up. I couldn't even read the amount. I called my son over to take a look!"
Pierre said he was shocked when his son confirmed the win. “My son and I were both so excited!”
He plans to pay some bills, save and help his children with his winnings.
