Join us at Brock’s Monument on Oct. 6, as we celebrate the life of the hero of Upper Canada – Major-General Sir Isaac Brock. Starting at 11 a.m. at the base of the Monument, this event will include special presentations highlighting the life of Brock, as well as birthday treats!
“Brock’s Birthday Bash is an annual event that provides us with a unique opportunity to focus on the life of Brock, and the contributions that he made both as the head of the civil government and military, leading up to the War of 1812, as well as his legacy after his death at the Battle of Queenston Heights”, notes Amanda Gamble, Executive Director of the Friends of Fort George.
Costumed staff will lead you through the special presentation, which will also include a peak at a new outdoor display that was created by the Friend of Fort George.
