For decades, the Henderson family name has been synonymous with supporting the sport of hockey in Thorold.
In addition to sponsoring countless teams, John and Cathy Henderson have hosted the Henderson's Pharmacy Tournament for 30 years.
Prior to the final game of this year's tournament on Sunday, TAAA president Jamie Drummond presented the couple with a framed Thorold Blackhawks jersey, sporting the number 39 to represent the fact that the pharmacy first opened under the Henderson name in 1939.
