The Thorold LL Tim Horton's novice team dropped Lincoln by 1 in an amazing battle between two top teams in front of a packed house Saturday.
Both goalies were amazing, Thorold goalie Kayden Alguire made some huge saves down the stretch, including a great glove save on a breakaway.
Lincoln tied it up 4-4 with three minutes left and Mason Kenny scored the game-winner with 10 seconds left in the game to seal the win for Thorold 5-4.
Kenny led the charge with 4 goals and Adam Santos with 1 goal. Caleb Nunn had the passing touch with 3 assists, Kyle Kelly with 2 assists and Carson McPherson with an assist. It was a great team game and all kids played well.
