A cherished member of our family passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 84 at the Loyalist in St. Catharines. She was born on February 1, 1940, in Thorold, Ontario. As a long-time employee of the Thorold Paper Mill, through its many changes in ownership, Tina always remained a constant from the finishing room to the canteen. Predeceased by her parents, Aldo and Amelia, and her sister Elinor, Tina leaves behind her loving brother Vince, with whom she shared a special bond and countless cherished memories. She will be deeply missed as a great aunt to Thomas, Sarah, Caleb, Amelia, Benjamin, Bradley, Ryan, and Alesha. To Chris, Kenny, Kelly, Lisa, Tom and their partners, she was an even greater aunt, providing guidance, love, and endless support. “Aunt” to all and always the life of any social gathering, Tina’s generous spirit and kind heart will forever be remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tina was a devoted fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and her love extended beyond sports; she was a dedicated cat mom to Ellie and Sebastian, as well as a best friend to numerous other beloved pets throughout her life. Her nurturing spirit and kindness knew no bounds, touching the hearts of all who knew her. A special thank you to the staff of The Loyalist Retirement Residence for Tina’s care and support over the last number of years.
A private service will be held for her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara - formerly Lincoln County Humane Society, reflecting Tina’s lifelong love of animals. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.Bocchinfusofh.com.
