It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Aidan Daniels. Tragically, he was taken from us far too soon at 16 years of age. Aidan was a bright, intelligent, funny, charismatic, independent and caring person. He was also a handsome young man. He loved cars, BMX bikes, dirt bikes, his friends, family, and all of our many pets. He spent many hours working on cars with his dad. He had a great work ethic, loved to get his hands dirty, planned to enter a trade school after graduation, and took great pride in taking care of and nurturing those he loved. He was very protective of his family.

He was the happiest, most good-natured baby. Every day when he woke up, he never cried, he was all smiles and giggles and ready to start his day. Raising him was a joy and a privilege.

Aidan was a son to his mother Crimson Hope, his father Brendan Daniels and his other mother Stacy Daniels. Stepson to Trevor Hope for many years. A brother to Wren Daniels and McKenzie Hope. A grandson to Alan and Leslie Daniels, Dana and Faith MacDonald, Ted Shallip and Lorraine Smith, Sean and Vicky Gatenby, Tom Hope, and Jim and Lorna Rees (who is already waiting for him in heaven). Nephew to Alin and Tara Dumitru, Johnny Rees, Dennis and Meegan Legros, Kieran and Melissa Daniels, Siobhan Daniels, Jennifer Shallip, Megan Gatenby and Bryan Hope. He was also a cousin to Michael Rees, who was very close with him, as well as many other cousins of all ages on both sides of the family.

Aidan will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. Every day we are learning more and more about the people who loved him. Our family would like to thank everyone for their contributions to his GoFundMe page, the phone calls, messages, flowers, meals, groceries, and overall support. Because of your generosity, we are going to be able to honour Aidan in the way that he deserves. We are feeling the love. Please feel free to reach out and send us any pictures or videos or share stories from your time with him.

Those who wish to contribute to Aidan’s GoFundMe page can visit https://gofund.me/19f62c76. A candlelight vigil is being held by his friends at the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Burleigh Hill Drive/Glengarry Road on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 9pm-11pm.
