It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Larry Darbyson passed away Saturday, July 8, peacefully, comfortably and surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sharon, daughter, Tara, and her family (husband, Mike, and children, Tyler and Ayla) and son, Kyle, and his family (wife, Wendy, and daughter, Margot).
Larry was a hard worker, skilled carpenter and proud member of the St. Catharines Boxing Hall of Fame.
Whether you were family, friend, colleague or one of the hundreds of boxers he mentored over the years, Larry undoubtedly touched your life in a meaningful way. He will be missed.
In accordance with Larry's wishes, there will be no ceremony or service.
