Mary Elizabeth Roynon Fretz, born on May 31, 1942, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Shannon by her side on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, due to metastatic cancer.
Mary was loved and will be dearly missed by her family, especially by her 3 children and their families, Darren Fretz with his wife Raquel Clarete and their three kids, Nathan, Querren and Benjie; Shannon Fretz with her son Andre Vachon; and Jeffrey Fretz, and also by her friends..
Although the diagnosis of cancer and then her passing came as a surprise to everyone, she’s always been prepared and knew what she wanted when her time came.
To honor Mary’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place and a small private interment ceremony with the family and friends will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 2 pm at the Oakwood Cemetery in Port Colborne, Ontario.
