Passed away, surrounded by family on Thursday at NHS-St. Catharines Site. Devoted husband and best friend of Gayle. Loving father of Kelly (Charlie) Bungard and Kevin (Tina) Boyd. Amazing Poppa of Sydney, Owen, Fisher and Piper. Dear brother of John, Len (Lois) and the late Fred.
Thoughtful, kind, talented, friendly, are just a few words that friends and family would use to describe Pete. He meant so much to so many. Whether he was helping you to build something or had designed and made something for you, his talent and pride made every project special. Pete was always athletic and stayed involved with sports throughout his years. He enjoyed social gatherings and could talk to anyone.
Pete worked at General Motors for 40 years as a Pattern Maker and CNC machine operator.
Pete was very much a family man and enjoyed spending his time with them. He loved being at his cottage and later at Lighthouse Trailer Park where he quickly became friends with many of the residents. Words can’t express the loss we feel but we know he’s looking down on us while shootin’ the breeze with somebody.
