(January 6th, 1950) The world has lost a beautiful man. With great sadness we announce the passing of John Read Louis Lampman on July 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family and friends. John is survived by his loving wife Margy, his dear, dear son Steve Donnelley (Julie) and three beautiful grandchildren, John, James and Violet who he loved with all of his heart. He will be greatly missed by his brothers-in-laws Michael (Joyce), Edward (deceased May 2024) (Donna), David and their families. Many happy times were spent with his extended Verge family, Andree (John), Kate (Allan), Todd (Jen), John (Trudi) and Terry. John loved his family and friends unconditionally. He had a great passion and knowledge of all music and was an ardent Buffalo Bills fan. The family would sincerely like to thank Shannon Ballough from Home and Community Care Support Services for her most appreciated help, going above and beyond providing an amazing team of nurses and PSW’s for John. Special thanks also to Dr. Kopp, Dr. Pallie, Dr. Bertley, Dr. Quai and Sally Berg, NP who was a constant in John’s care. Steve and Julie were pillars of strength providing constant care and love for John. It has been mentioned that due to John’s positive attitude and the love of his family and friends is the reason he was with us so long. My heartfelt thanks to all of you.
