Pat was predeceased by her parents Frank and Geraldine Garbutt, her sisters Betty (Fred) McGough and Joan Garbutt as well as brother Robert Garbutt aka Garbut Roberts (professional name)..
Pat loved meeting new people. Perhaps you met her as a Hairdresser during her first career immediately out of high school or when she created Pelican Marketing raising funds for disabled sports. Maybe you worked with her during the many political campaigns she worked so passionately on or during her 30 year career selling real estate in the Niagara Region. In between these activities she found time to coach a girls softball team. Perhaps you were one of the 7-year-old little girls who signed up to play in the Spring of 1970 and played until the Fall of 1977 when this team won the Province of Ontario Championship. She was so proud of these young ladies. You may have also walked a beach with her and her Irish Setter Ruby who was one of her many pets over the years or on a dance floor especially during the Grape & Wine good years with the Port of Spain connection. Wherever you met you'll remember that beautiful smile and the person behind it. Perhaps you'll meet again in a better place.
Pat also loved to host family affairs but she will have to finally trust us to look after things for her Celebration of Life in the SPRING of 2025 in the Niagara area.
In honouring Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society in Pat's memory would be appreciated.
