Peacefully, at Douglas Memorial Hospital, on March 21, 2021 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband John (2011). Loving mother of Brian (Edith) Matuch. Grandma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Michael (Jessica) and Katrina (Matthew), her great granddaughter Zoey, and soon to arrive great grandchild Baby M. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Frank Buvala. Sister to the late Helen Matis (2019). Aunt to the late Judy Matis (2013). Aunty Anne will be missed by her great niece Taryn (Lou) Paulozza and family. Anne was a hard-working, bingo enthusiast who loved to spend time working in her garden. The family would like to thank the staff at Cobblestone Gardens for taking excellent care of Anne, and a special thank you to the team at Douglas Memorial for their wonderful care and compassion, especially during Anne's final days. Cremation has taken place. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Memorial donations on behalf of Anne may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
