God called Rosa peacefully, at the Meadows of Dorchester in Niagara Falls, with her family by her side, on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Rosa, formerly of Thorold in her 97th year.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Felice (2021) and daughter Angela (2013). She will be cherished by her dear son Nick (Frances). Proud Nonna of Stephen (Jessica), Leigha (Manon), Jordan (Jennifer) and David (Michelle). Loving Bisnonna to Liliana, Magnus, Adriana, Amorina and Theodore. Sister of Santina (Angelo) Meffe of Italy and sister-in-law of Domenic (the late Felicia) Meffe. She is predeceased by her brothers Luca of Italy, Antonio (Maria) Meffe, sister Felica (surviving spouse Domenico) Meffe, brothers-in-law Mario (Domenica) Meffe, Raffaele Meffe of Italy and Teresa (Nicola) Meffe of Italy and nephew Nicola Meffe. Rosa will be held dear in the hearts and fondly remembered by her son-in-law Vito Petrone, many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Rosa was a devoted and faithful member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Community in Thorold. She enjoyed gardening and was passionate about cooking.
Visitors will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Rite of Committal Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
