Passed away peacefully, at home on December 25th, 2024 at the age of 70. Billy will be dearly missed by his daughters Molly and Katie Newlands, their mother, Mary Jo O'Brien, and brother, Matthew Huibers (Stefanie). Billy is also survived by his nephews, Robert (Tanya) and Richard Heculuck, Shane Telesnicki and Andrew Newlands, his niece, Amy Newlands, and many extended family. He was predeceased by parents, Ed and Amy Newlands, sisters, Roberta Heculuck (late Frank), Margaret Telisnicki (Al Dyck, late Kaz), Cathy McCafferty (late Tony), his brother, Drew (Nina) and his niece and nephew, Cindy (John Garvie) and Billy Heculuck. Billy loved to laugh and especially loved to make others laugh. He was a master impersonator; (Bing Crosby, Elvis, Sean Connery and John Wayne to name just a few). His sense of humour was legendary. Billy was non-judgemental and always championed the underdog and those whom he felt were less fortunate than himself. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Billy will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, January 12th, 2025 at the Imperial Veterans Club, 15 George Street, St. Catharines. All Welcome.
