Mary-Ellen passed away early Saturday morning, September 7th with her sister at her side after a hard fought 18 month battle with cancer. She showed such strength and courage throughout the last 18 months. Mary-Ellen is survived by her sister Brenda and brother Brian (Marla) and her nieces Tami (Kris), Kelly, Rebecca (Mark) and her nephew Eric. Mary-Ellen had six great nieces and nephews and one great, great niece. Mary-Ellen will be missed by her friend Mike D'Amico. Many thanks to our good friend Tammy Hotson for all her help, love and support over the last year and a half.
Cremation has taken place. As per Mary-Ellen's wishes there will be no funeral, but a celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In honor of Mary-Ellen's love for dogs, donations can be made to Niagara Dog Rescue, who successfully rehomed her sweet Teddy when she could no longer care for him, or to Community Addiction Services of Niagara.
