It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother and Gramma on April 24th at the age of 81. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Lena Wynneck and her husband Neil Ross. She was a kind, loving and cherished mother of Lorrie Ross (Friend Vic Bolibruck) and Wayne (Nancy) Ross. She was the extremely proud Gramma of Kendra (Dylan) Ross and Jacob Ross. She loved her time spent at many rinks across Niagara and outside Niagara watching Kendra's Precision Teams skating and Jacob playing hockey. Most proud of their educational pursuits and the loving adults that they are. Gramma was blessed with awesome grandchildren. She leaves behind a cherished brother Bill (Barb) Wynneck. She loved Bill's gift of photography and the pictures he sent her, mum was proud of her "iPAD" skills and even learned to save a few pictures. Mum leaves behind a special cousin and friend, Susan Anderson. She loved her daily calls about the Y & R. Mum loved her family dinners celebrating the holidays. She leaves many nieces and nephews that brought her happiness on these occasions. Mum was blessed with a large circle of "girlfriends" that she cherished. The "girls from the Thorold Senior Group" that she crafted and exercised with and this was typically followed by birthday luncheons or coffee. The "quilting girls" that she traveled with to Quilt Shows in Canada and the United States. The "quilt girls" that she went away on weekends with to the Cairn Croft, just to quilt and gab. The "girls" from the Holy Rosary Credit Union who had regular socials and dinners. Finally, her two "Best Friends" Elsie Bedford who was like a sister and the late Iona Ross who she enjoyed chatting on the phone with and visiting.
