Suddenly, at Meadows of Dorchester, Niagara Falls on Saturday, July 6 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband and soulmate to Nancy (née Biggar) for 53 years. Proud Dad to Carol Anne (Craig) Baxter and Emily (Annie) Tam-Rossini. Cherished Poppa to Cecilia Baxter, Josephine Rossini and Wilhelmina Rossini. Bob is predeceased by his parents Gino and Mary, but survived by his siblings Ron (Arlene), Linda and Barbara. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings-in-law Dan (Joan), Jerry (Maria), Janet (Frank) and Jim (Cathy). Born in Thorold in 1942, Bob didn’t stray far from the Niagara region. Following his schooling at Brock University, he attended McMaster University to study philosophy, and Western University to study Library science, returning to St. Catharines to spend his career working in circulation at Brock University. Retiring at the age of 62, Bob loved golfing and many other sports. Visitors will be received on Thursday, July 11 at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold from 12 - 1 p.m. Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass will be celebrated in the Lamb Chapel at 1 p.m. Rite of committal Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
