Man wanted for exposing himself to a woman and her child in Welland: Police

On Aug. 19, 2020, at approximately 7:30 p.m. 3 District – Welland uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) attended the area of McCabe Avenue and Louise Street in Welland for an indecent act call.

A female member of the public contacted the police to report that at 7:15 p.m. she had been out for a walk with her child. The member of the public had been walking in the area of McCabe Avenue and Louise Street when she noticed a younger male approaching her on roller blades. As the male passed her he winked at her.

The younger male circled back around and approached the female member of the public again. As the male passed the female he exposed his genitalia and performed an indecent act.

The male then fled the area.

The suspect has been described as:

  • East Asian /  South East Asian male  
  • 14-16 years old
  • Lean build
  • 5'8 - 5'10 ft. tall on blades
  • He was wearing a tan "hoodie" (blank with no logos), charcoal pants, and black roller blades.  

Businesses or members of the public who may have security cameras in area asked to review their recorded footage and contact the NRPS is they observe anything suspicious or possibly linked to this incident.
