Police investigating shooting in Lincoln

A 33-year-old man suffered multiple gun shot wounds and was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries

On Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021, at approximately 11:36 p.m., 8 District (Grimsby) uniform officers, the Emergency Task Unit and Traffic Enforcement with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) attended the Bled Hall, located at 4650 South Service Road, in the Town of Lincoln, in regards to a shooting.

Investigation revealed that at approximately 10:35 p.m., a 33-year-old male victim sustained multiple gun shot wounds. 

The victim was transported to an out of Region Hospital where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.

There is no further risk to the public.
