Alpachino has been located and his family has been notified. The Niagara Regional Police have investigated this incident which has been deemed non-criminal. Out of respect for family and due to privacy issues the Niagara Regional Police will not be commenting further on the matter.

The Niagara Regional Police Service has removed his photo from the original media release and our social media. We would ask the media and public to consider doing the same.
Officers from the 2 District – Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake (NOTL) office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Alpachino Mignott.
Alpachino is a Jamaican national who was visiting Canada to take part in a rugby sporting event in the Greater Toronto Area (Brampton).
He was last seen in the area of Kent Street and Queenston Street in NOTL on October 19th, 2024, around 10:45PM. His means of travel is unknown.
Investigative efforts thus far have not been able to locate Mignott.
Alpachino is described as:
- Black male
- Approximately 181lbs. medium build
- 6’2 feet tall
- Black hair
- Black beard
A clothing description is not known currently.
The police and Alpachino’s family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone who may have information as to his location are asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1002200.
Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
